My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ahsoka is still a young padawan and is still figuring out who she is. She's part of the May the 4th Litter and is on the shyer side, though look away for a second and she'll be playing in the middle of the fray. She's not a big fan of being pet yet (we're still working on that) and he hobby is finding a good hiding spot until she gets comfortable. She likes other cats but isn't a big fan of dogs. She's a good girl though, she loves to play with feather wands and carry around kickie mice. She still has much to learn and will need to go to a home with another young, playful cat who can help show her the ropes.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Browse our adoptable cats and complete an application! Your application is good for one year for any cat(s) in our program.

2.
Interview

We will process your application and contact you with any questions.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, we will put you in contact with the foster parent of the cat you wish to meet! Schedule a meet&greet virtually or in-person.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you've met your match, your foster will walk you through signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee! Happy Tails!

Additional adoption info

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas before adoption. We expect your current pets to be as well.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$90 for any cat over 6 months
$150 for a pair of cats over 6 months
$125 for a kitten under 6 months
$210 for two kittens under 6 months

We have many wonderful cats and kittens for adoption!

We do adoptions generally by appointment only. All of our cats are fostered in individual foster homes throughout the Baltimore Metro Area. Meet/Greets can be arranged virtually, at the foster's home, at an adoption event, and/or at a mutually agreed upon venue (e.g. Petco or Petsmart). We hold adoption events periodically throughout the Baltimore Metro area, including Petco Gambrills, Petco Owings Mills, Loyal Companion Baltimore, and others!

The Feline Rescue Association (FRA) is dedicated to improving the lives of unwanted and homeless cats and kittens, be they friendly or feral, through rescue, adoption and spay and neuter. Our cats/kittens are fully vetted with age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV. We expect adopters pets to be as well.
