My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 06/02/2025  Meet Slenderman (aka Slendy): the long, lanky tuxedo siren who’s ready to sing his way into your heart (and your living room). Don’t worry—he’s not here to haunt your nightmares, just your lap.  Slendy had a big glow-up thanks to a community-funded surgery that gave him a pain-free leg and a new lease on life. These days, his favorite hobbies include curling up on the couch after dinner, following his humans like a dramatic shadow, and loudly sharing his opinions on… well, everything. If you’ve ever wanted a cat who doubles as a furry roommate and part-time opera singer, this is your guy.

He’s equal parts lover and wrestler: a lap cat through and through, but also the first to pounce into a play tunnel. He gets along well with cat-friendly dogs, and after proper introductions, he loves having another kitten or young cat to spar with—so his ideal home has at least one feline friend.  Slendy’s the full package: cuddly, chatty, playful (but not over the top), and weirdly charming in that “I’ve been here before” kind of way. If you’re ready for a talkative, affectionate sidekick who knows when to zoom and when to nap, Slenderman is waiting to attach himself firmly (and loudly) to your heart.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process involves a personal interview with one of our adoption counsellors. Potential adopters are asked questions about their family, home, and lifestyle in order to match them with the perfect cat or kitten. We do require an adoption contract/agreement that outlines expectations for both the adopter and our organization.
Adoption Fees are $60 for adults, $100-120 for most kittens, and $150+ for specialty breeds.

Go meet their pets

We have adoptable cats and kittens on display at Petco Casa Linda, Petco Carrollton, Petco Lewisville, Petco Prestonwood and Petco Mesquite all the time. Adoptions are typically by appointment only with limited adoption events. Please use the Ask About Me button or email us at Dallascatladyinfo@gmail.com.

More about this rescue

We work with local shelters to give cats and kittens more time to find just the right home. We have placed over 3,000 kitties with new families since 2013. We are also avid promoters of the Trap-Neuter-Release process to assist in the reduction of homeless cats by spaying and neutering and education of the public on the basics of the process.
