My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie – The Cozy Autumn Cuddlebug

With her adorable black-and-white tuxedo and soft, curious eyes, Cookie is the perfect little companion for crisp November afternoons. At 2 years old, this petite sweetheart has already weathered some ups and downs, she and her sister Milk were recently returned through no fault of their own. Now, they’re hoping for a quiet, understanding home where they can settle in and rediscover the warmth of love.

Cookie may hide at first, like a leaf tucked under the porch on a windy fall day, but her curiosity always wins. Before long, she’ll be peeking out, chirping her tiny greetings, and investigating the cozy corners of her new home.

Once she feels safe, Cookie’s personality shines bright:
She loves laser play and corkscrew toys
She gets adorable “zoomie bursts” accompanied by funny little chirps
She enjoys sleeping on pillows or near your head like a tiny, purring hat
She’s brave, playful, and oh-so cuddly

Cookie finds comfort in soothing songs and calm voices, which help her relax during her adjustment period. With patience, she unfolds like a warm autumn sunrise, loving, sweet, and full of gentle charm.

Cookie and her sister Milk are a bonded pair and best friends. Whether they’re sharing a windowsill or nudging each other for the warmer spot, their love for each other is as sweet as wel Milk & Cookies.

Cookie is up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, microchipped, flea-treated, and spayed. Her birthday is estimated to be 05/29/2023

More about this rescue

The mission of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our foster, spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.

The vision of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
