Meet Ranger!!
This handsome guy is the VELCRO hook looking for his loop!! This active pup is a total goober
for attention, and will excel in a home that can provide consistent engagement to help him reach
his full potential. Ranger will do best in an active household that understands the nuances of
working breeds. He is very intelligent and loves to please but his breed requires firm
boundaries. Ranger has some insecurities and will need a family who can commit to ongoing
socialization and generous reinforcement to help build his confidence.
In his current foster home, Ranger lives with children and another dog and respects the size of
both. He can be reactive when new people enter the home but is redirectable and quickly
becomes a snuggler with everyone. He is currently working on basic obedience, socialization,
and scent work. His favorite things are chasing a ball, belly rubs, car rides, hiking, and following
people around. His hashtag is #BALLALLDAY. Ranger is crate trained and cooperative with
baths and clipping his nails. He is current with all vaccines and parasite prevention
