Jasper is a 12-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who has been a cherished member of his family for the past 10 years. At a healthy 50 pounds, Jasper is a sturdy dog with a peaceful disposition.
He’s a gentle soul with a calm and affectionate demeanor, making him the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal and laid-back friend. Jasper absolutely loves car rides and walks, and you can see the excitement in his eyes whenever it's time to head out for an adventure!
He’s never shown aggression toward people or animals, peacefully coexisting with chickens and a cat for many years. He also has a playful side and enjoys chasing squirrels in the yard from time to time. He gets along with all sizes, breeds, and ages of dogs. He has been around children and done very well.
As he ages, Jasper is starting to lose some of his hearing, but his loving, loyal personality remains as strong as ever. During the day, you’ll often find him lounging around the house, enjoying restful moments. Jasper makes an excellent adventure buddy. He’s a smart dog who loves being by his person’s side, bringing comfort and companionship wherever he goes.
