My story

This little cutie patootie is Perry!

He’s a tough little tabby with a sweet soul. This baby boy started life as a scruffy, scared orphan, but thanks to a kind police officer that brought him to FDHS and our awesome animal care team, Perry has become a true rags to riches story.

Perry has been nothing but affectionate with our staff, showing off the loudest little purr motor every chance he gets. He absolutely loves the other cats and is usually found cuddled up with a buddy. He would thrive in a home with other friendly cats. Because he's so young and is used to the sounds and smells of the shelter dogs, we think he'd adapt well to a canine in the home.

We aren't sure why this perfect little guy is still here but we know his future family is out there!

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
