Meet Mitosis—aka Otis!
Otis is a 2-year-old, 115-lb large-breed mix who is equal parts strong, playful, and snuggly. This big sweetheart LOVES his toys, is a total fetch master, and enjoys tug-of-war sessions with his medium-sized canine foster sister (an SMS alum!). After he’s had his fun, Otis is happiest curling up with his people and foster sibling for some good cuddle time.
Smart and eager to please, Otis already knows several commands and is excited to keep learning with his future family. He gets along well with medium to large dogs. Cats may be okay, but any adopter with cats will need to do slow, structured introductions and keep a close eye on interactions. Due to his size and strength, Otis will do best with a family experienced with large dogs—one that can provide structure, consistent training, and plenty of activity.
Why Otis is amazing:
🦴 Big, strong & incredibly lovable
🎾 Fetch master & tug-of-war champ
🤗 A true cuddle bug
🐶 Dog-friendly (may overwhelm small dogs)
🚫 Likely too much for cats and small children
🎓 Knows multiple commands & eager to learn
🩺 Fully vetted and ready for adoption
Otis is searching for a family who’s ready for both playtime and snuggle time—and who understands the needs of a big, powerful dog. If you’re looking for an active, goofy, loyal, and affectionate best friend, Otis just might be your perfect match! 🐾

Feline adoption fees - $125 for kittens under 8 months, $100 if over 8 months, and $60 if over 9 years old.
Canine adoption fees - $350 for puppies under 1 year, $300 if over 1 year, and $200 if over 7 years old.
