Purr Malone is a handsome, one-year-old boy who’s just the perfect gentleman. He’s very affectionate, sweet, and loves pets and play. Since the beginning he’s been the most confident and chillest boy. He’s been my little lanky shadow during my foster.
Purr loves dry treats like minnows and chicken, but is learning how to eat Churrus! He’s a focused eater with a big appetite and likes both wet and dry food. He loves playing with feather toys and is always looking for an opportunity to practice his hunting skills. He also just likes companionship and headbutts. He’s super curious and likes to get his nose into “trouble”, you cannot leave a treat bag unsupervised!
Purr would thrive in a home with another playful cat or dog as he is so friendly and confident and playful. I did not have a dog at home but I feel like his energy could match a dog’s. A home where he could get attention from everyone with play and unlimited pets would be the best. (Editor’s note: my cat is very much an introvert and we are still working on them getting along, but it’s mostly working with my resident cat instead of Purr as he is not the problematic one, my cat is haha, he’s super chill in all the interactions)

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
