Hi, I’m Petrie – the sweetheart of the family with a grin that’ll melt your heart. If Petrie was a candy, he'd be King of the Marshmallows! I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who loves belly rubs, silly playtime, and just being close to the people I love.
My journey started rough – I was found on the side of the road with my brother, Spike as puppies. We got adopted together, but sadly, we were returned as adults. Now we’re back at the shelter, still wagging our tails and hoping for a second chance.
Even after all that, I’m still full of love and smiles. I might be a little goofy, but I’ve got a heart of gold. I especially love belly rubs, and I’ll happily roll over to let you know!
My brother and I are two silly boys who miss being in a home, curling up on soft beds, and sharing our joy with a family. Whether we’re adopted together or separately, I’m ready to give my whole heart to someone who’ll love me forever.
Even though I am "big", I'm really sweet and a tiny bit timid! Really!!

Adoption Fees:
Dogs $150, Cats $115
Senior Dog Program
There are always a few senior dogs at the shelter at any given time, and we want to make sure they aren't forgotten! Special arrangements and assistance is offered for anyone adopting/or fostering one of these wonderful seniors. The adoption fee is waived for interested and qualified applicants, so take a look and Contact Us if you're interested!
If you adopt a special needs animal the shelter will help pay for the meds that the animal is currently on.
Pre-application required: References required: Vet and if you rent your land lord. There will be an interview and home visit with prospective adopties to help us match the perfect pet for your family. If for any reason you can not keep the animal and can not place them in a good home we will take the animal back.
