My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nora is a 19-pound sweetheart who thrives in a calm, quiet home. She’s adjusting well to a routine and seems mostly potty trained, though she’s still working on consistency. Nora will go into her crate but much prefers being close to her people—she’s a true Velcro dog who loves attention and affection.

She’s been polite with other dogs but isn’t much of a player; her focus is really on people. A gentle, steady environment where she can feel secure and loved will be the perfect match for her.

If you would like to meet this angel, please fill out a questionnaire and he will be contacted soon.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs live both in foster homes and at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary in Oakland. The best way to arrange a meeting for a specific dog is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

We have adoption events every weekend throughout the Bay Area, which you can see here - https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/events/
