Montie is a loyal, loving boy who has been dealt a harsh hand.
Originally discovered protecting his late owner's body in their home, Montie was brought in by a friend of the family.
The family friend then unfortunately fell on hard times and suffered an injury that will prevent him from continuing to care for Montie any longer.
Now Montie is being fostered while he awaits his final forever home - He currently has his checkups scheduled and will be receiving any necessary medical care, however please be aware that Montie may be a hospice case.
He is a kind boy who wants nothing more than to follow his favorite human and get comfortable. A simple glance is all it takes to get this handsome fella to wag his tail and show you that sweet smile! Anyone would be lucky to meet this precious pup as he is full of love and kisses.
Montie would do best in a home without other dogs as he has unfortunately been attacked by off-leash dogs before, however he is a tolerant boy who makes it clear when he is upset and wants some space!
He is an excitable boy on the leash and loves to explore - he isn't the strongest pup in town, but he could do with a few pointers on walking.
Are you able to give Montie his final forever home and a life filled with love? Please reach out!
~ Montie is being shared as a courtesy listing and is not affiliated with the Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue ~
~ You can reach out to the current foster directly via email; JackMullaney@Hotmail.co.uk ~

More about this rescue
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
