Marnie is a gorgeous girl with a spring in her step despite her difficult background.
Originally discovered wandering the streets scavenging for food, Marnie was brought into a loving home. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the wonderful people who took her in are now themselves between homes and are unable to properly care for this lovely lady.
Now Marnie is currently being fostered and showered with love, but she still needs to find her final forever home!
Marnie may be getting on in years, but you'd never be able to tell! Marnie can usually be seen on her hind legs looking for a cuddle and a kiss, and she can even make her way onto your bed for a nice nap without any assistance. Despite her seemingly endless energy Marnie just wants to be loved and to cuddle up - she is perfectly content wherever her main human is.
Marnie could do with a little refresher on her leash etiquette, but she isn't one to pull.
Unfortunately due to some poor encounters with off-leash dogs Marnie can be tense when meeting new dogs - she isn't aggressive, but would do best in a home where she can have some time to herself (and for hugs from her human!)
Are you able to give Marnie her final forever home and a life filled with love? Please contact us!

More about this rescue
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
