✨ Meet Nakoma – From Survivor to Snuggle Queen ✨
Nakoma’s story began on the streets of Alabama, where this brave Bernese Mountain Dog mix struggled to raise her pups alone. She landed in a shelter and when shelter life became too much, Pilots N Paws flew her to safety in Nebraska, where she’s now thriving in foster care with our NBMDRN team. 🥰
At just 1.5 years old and about 50lbs, Nakoma may be small for a Berner mix—but her personality fills the room! She’s spunky, snuggly, and silly, all in one. Nakoma loves kids, people, and other dogs. She’s fully potty trained, learning her leash skills, and has great manners (she doesn’t even need a kennel when home alone!). She also enjoys the dog park, and spreads joy visiting nursing homes with her foster mom. 💕
Nakoma is ready to find her forever family— ideally one with a fenced yard to lounge in and no small critters to chase.
