My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🍂 Blinky: A Gentle Heart in a Tiny Package

There’s a special comfort in the quiet presence of Blinky, a senior Maltese who has weathered life with grace and kindness. A former stray, Blinky has some dental issues, and likely experiences oral discomfort, yet he remains polite, affectionate, and full of gentle love while we determine the best care plan for him.

He thrives in calm, patient homes where his slow, sweet ways can be appreciated. Blinky enjoys quiet laps, soft pats, and the peaceful rhythm of everyday life — a gentle companion for those who treasure warmth, patience, and a quietly loyal friend.

Invite Blinky into your home, and you’ll discover the joy of a dog whose heart is bigger than his tiny frame, and whose presence brings calm, comfort, and quiet love.

Hear what Blinky's foster has to say about him!
"Blinky’s happy place is the yard or your lap. He’s blind and mostly deaf so the yard is a wonderful place for him to feel the textures under his feet and take in all the smells. So far he hasn’t minded any type of weather—not cold, not rain. He loved the snow today using his nose to throw it up in the air. He is also content to curl up beside you if you are working on the computer or on the couch while you watch TV. At dinner time he will lay on the wood floor (easier to feel your footsteps). He likes napping close by while smelling the food aromas. He is can learn to find things in the house if you keep things in place. He has been able to find the water bowl on his own. He is crate trained and will sleep in his crate at night."
