Meet **Bella**, the 9-ish-year-old sweetheart who *absolutely adores* her human. Give her a minute to warm up, and suddenly you’re her whole world. When you walk through the door? Get ready—because this girl launches ALL four paws off the ground like she’s part kangaroo.
Bella is currently living with two other mellow pups and is totally fine co-existing… as long as they’re chill. She’s not looking for a rowdy playmate—her heart belongs to *you*, not dog-park chaos.
Here’s what Bella brings to the table:
Potty trained
Food-motivated (treats = instant joy)
Quiet, snuggly, human-focused
LOVES being close to her person
Her dream home? Someone who’s around more often than not—maybe a retired human or senior looking for the world’s most loyal companion. She’d thrive as the one-and-only princess of the house, but could live with the right calm dog too.

She decided the west coast was getting a little dangerous to live in and decided to relocate to Tennessee.
Her vetting is complete and she is ready to move right into your home or heart.
Let’s show her that southern hospitality that Tennessee is know for

Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.
Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else.
We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.

We are 100% volunteer powered. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.
Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip.
Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.
Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
