This helps NorthStar Pet Rescue Inc with pet care costs.
Timothy showed up at a high kill shelter in Texas in really bad shape. His fur was really thin, his skin was inflamed, and he had a big mass on one of his hips. Fast forward, all of those issues were addressed and he joined the Northstar family. He is settling in with his Texas foster mom. She says he loves going for walks and is perfect on leash! Timothy is 8 years old and weighs 16 pounds.
Timothy always has a soulful look on his face, almost like Eeyore. He is slow to warm up to people but quickly takes to other dogs, big and small. He follows his foster mom around - but isn’t a cuddler yet. (With more time, we think he will get there.) He is cautious around people he doesn’t know and needs extra time to get comfortable. It’s like he is a tad suspicious - worried that new people aren’t going to be nice to him. But with time and lots of TLC, we are sure he will come around.
At this point, Timothy doesn’t need to be in a home with children, but that could change as he learns that there are lots of nice people in the world.
If you'd like to help out Timothy, please fill out an application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to mention his name.
