Sweet Coco has been with us since 2017. We first met Coco when we helped get her spayed and vaccinated through our outreach program. Unfortunately, her owner got sick and surrendered her. We think Coco is a lab/pitbull mix. She dreams of a calm, relaxed life with good, loving people. She needs a home without small children because their energy makes her uneasy. She's good company for calm dogs, medium to large size.  She's more of a companion for other dogs than a playmate.

Coco is a softie when it comes to her "babies". She likes to carry around a stuffed animal with her. She really loves all toys and plays well alone.  She enjoys peaceful naps on the hammock, leisurely walks, and just hanging around the house with her friends.

She is a funny girl who is sure to fill your home with joy and laughter!  Coco is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.  She is also potty trained, leash and crate trained.  She’s ready to have a family of her own and will make an amazing companion

Please email placement@duckteam6.org if you are interested in making her a member of your family. .

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in the life-saving experience of adopting a dog!

Filling out our application does not guarantee that you will be approved to adopt one of our dogs. We will conduct a home visit and reference check as part of our application screening. We reserve the right to refuse any application.

The minimum age for adopting from our program is 21 years old. You must agree to take your new pet to your veterinarian for a general wellness check within 4 weeks of the dog joining your family. You must also agree to keep your new pet current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Applications are processed on a first come, first serve basis, however the dog will be placed with the applicant that can provide the best possible situation for his/her needs.

Our adoption fee is $250 which ensures that the pet has had a spay/neuter surgery, a microchip and age-appropriate vaccinations. The adoption fee is due the day the dog is placed into your home.

Please know that Duck Team 6 strives to achieve the most successful match for both dog and prospective family. All adoptions have a 2 week trial period in which your adoption fee would be refunded if it turns out the dog is not a good fit for your family within that time period.
