Leland was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 9/24/25 when he was due to be euthanized because owners did not come and pick him up. This big boy weighs 21 pounds and has the best personality! He is neutered and current on shots/dewormings. He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. We are guessing that Leland is about 3 yrs old. He will be adopted as an indoor only cat. He seems to do fine here at MCHS with the other cats and he is a people lover. Adoption fee is $80 with a completed application which is available at mchs.rescuegroups.org. You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN. We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH. We are just past our local airport. Thanks.
