This young guy had been adopted but then the owner changed jobs and he was is a kennel most of the time. Now he is back with us looking for a home where he can be part of a family that wants to take time for him. He is great with other dogs, and is working on leash training. He is good with kids, but still needs guidance as he is still a pup. Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
