Meet Horace – Your Chatty Companion with a Big Personality
Horace is a 1-year-old neutered male cat who’s full of character and loves to make his voice heard! If you enjoy a chatty companion, Horace will happily keep you entertained with his constant commentary.
He gets along well with other cats but does have some food aggression, so he’ll need to be fed in a separate area to avoid any squabbles. Around mealtime, he may give some not-so-gentle swats to protect his food, so structure and boundaries will be important for him.
Outside of mealtime, Horace is a sweetheart who loves being petted and soaking up attention. While he’s not a fan of being picked up, he’ll happily sit beside you and enjoy all the affection you’re willing to give.
Horace is looking for a home that appreciates his chatty nature, respects his quirks, and can provide him with a safe, structured space. In return, he’ll reward you with endless entertainment, companionship, and love.

We require potential adopters to fill out an pre-adoption application. If that application is approved, the dog/cat must be spayed/neutered before it leaves our shelter (if not already done). If it is a puppy under 4 months old, we allow it to go home with the adopters under a foster care agreement until it is old enough to be returned for spay/neuter. Kittens are allowed to leave before spay/neuter is done, but they must be done within a certain time frame.
Fees: Dogs/puppies range from $150-300, depending on if they came in already spayed/neutered or if we paid to have that done.
Cats range from $80 - $140, though we often have deals on older cats or cats that have been there a long time.
Kittens are $60 with $25 refunded once it has been spayed/neutered.
All adoptions include at least the first vaccination, deworming, de-fleaing, microchip ID, and 6 weeks of pet insurance.
