Meet Little Rumi!

Rumi’s story began the first of August when her world was suddenly turned upside down. After her caretaker passed away, she and a dozen other cats were left behind with nowhere to go. Luckily, we were able to bring her to safety, and once she was in our care, her sweet personality started to shine through.

Now 4 months old, Rumi is the total package! She’s already spayed, combo tested, vaccinated, and microchipped—all ready for her forever family. This gentle girl is affectionate, curious, and has so much love to give.

Rumi deserves a home where she’ll always feel safe and cherished. Could that be with you?

She is headed to Feeder's Supply on the 31w in Bowling Green, Ky. Rumi would love for you to come visit her and share her on your personal social media. She is really hoping her forever family sees her soon.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024

If you don't see pictures on Petfinder, please go to our website to view at www.kykittycats.com and we always have a waiting list that hasn't been posted yet.

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex.

Please visit and like our social media pages...  https://www.facebook.com/kykitties

and now we are on TIKTOK!

Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats

All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent. If you are interested in sponsoring an animal, just list their name in the comments.

Additional adoption info

We want to encourage serious adopters to check out of great babies. We spend much time working with our felines to prepare them for their new homes. We know their personalities and likes and dislikes. In a pet store, you just don't know much about the feline. Cats are very different. We want to make sure you adopt a great forever friend.

Go meet their pets

Watch our fb page for local events and please stop by and meet our sweet babies. We also welcome visitors to meet our fosters, either in our home or in a common location.

More about this rescue

Our soul purpose for everything we do is to keep the babies from landing in the shelter. Cats just multiply so quickly, that we can’t leave any cats unspayed or all our efforts are in vain. In order to do this, we have to change the mindset of not only our community, but our region, our state, and even the states around us. There is no way to keep your area free of excess kitties, when the areas around you are posting free kitties daily. We have to join together as a state and grow in volunteer numbers, until we have the resources to control the endless breeding.
We welcome anyone and everyone to join our fight. Even if you are not local, you can still help us. We constantly need adopters, quality rescues, shares of our needs, and sadly, without money, we are extremely limited in our efforts. Truth is, very few people can spay their cats or they would have without our help.
