My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thor may share his name with a mighty god, but this gentle boy has lived a quiet and peaceful life. He’s a shy soul who prefers calm, cozy spaces and will do best in a low-traffic home where he can truly feel safe. Thor doesn’t mind the company of other cats — he’s indifferent to them and never picks fights — but he doesn’t go out of his way to seek them out either.

Once he feels comfortable, Thor’s sweet personality begins to shine. He loves batting around toys, scratching on his cardboard post, and has a soft spot for tasty treats like shrimp and even a little fried chicken. With patience and love, Thor will reward his forever family with trust, quiet companionship, and the joy of watching him come out of his shell.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
