Chunk came into care when he was about 8 weeks old. He had been an unwanted stray born on an old cattle farm. In foster care he has been surrounded by other cats and people. He loves to play with the other cats and has grown to trust people as well. You can hear him purring from a mile away. Take him home and give him the love he deserves.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
