My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bulle arrived at the Animal Rescue Network in June 2025 after wandering around Montreal North. He had a large wound on his back and showed other signs of fighting. After his quarantine at the shelter, we detected that Bulle had feline leukemia (FeLV). For more information about FeLV: Feline Leukemia Virus | Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine   He was put in a foster family in order to not spread his virus at the shelter. Bulle is an adorable cat, but with the temperament of a superstar. He cuddles when and where he wants. He loves to be petted and rubs up against you to get attention. He may meow to remind you of his presence, especially in the evening when he wants to play and burn off energy. He is also a big eater, so ideally he should have a special bowl and be fed several times a day. He is a cat who is enjoyable to spend time with and who gives us a lot in return. Bulle an adult cat and he carries FeLV so the adoption fees for him are $100. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is negative for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but positive for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within thr first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All new adoption homes are carefully screened to determine if they are suitable. There is an adoption fee that includes the sterilization, initial vaccination of every animal, testing for FIV and FeLV of all cats at the shelter, and a 21 days trial period. A contract is always signed between the ARN and the adopter for their protection. A follow-up by an ARN adoption coordinator is often done either by telephone or by visit, and we also offer help/cousel for the life of the cat.
