My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Poppy, a young cat that survived FIP and is ready for her next adventure. Poppy is the epitome of a friendly and cuddly companion. She loves to spend her days playing with soft toys and enjoys the company of people, always ready to snuggle up for a cozy nap. Poppy's gentle nature makes her perfect for a family looking for a loving pet or anyone seeking a furry friend to share their moments with. Adopting Poppy means giving her the forever home she deserves, where she can spread joy and warmth with her brother Creek.

She is an FIP survivor. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
