My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Scrapple!

I’m a 2-year-old, 58-pound, terrier mix with tan and white fur, though I really should be closer to 35 pounds. I’ve been carrying some extra weight from past neglect. I’m also deaf, but don’t worry…I can still tell when it’s treat time!

I was recently surrendered after my owner passed away, and I’m currently living in a home with a 9 and 16-year-old, so I’m great with kids. I’ll admit that I’m a little bit afraid of the rain. Seriously, what girl likes to get her hair wet in public? I prefer puddle-free paws! Baths and grooming? Totally fine.

Because of my extra weight, I have short-term joint issues, but my vet says once I slim down, I should feel better/pain free. I’m friendly, affectionate, and love company — all I need is some exercise, patience, and lots of belly rubs.

If you want a loyal, loving, slightly rain-averse companion, I’m your girl!
