Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there! The name is Mr. Bojangles! I may be named after a famous tap dancer, but my favorite moves are tail wags, zoomies, and perfecting the "puppy eyes" routine. Originally from sunny Maui 🌴, I've danced my way all the way to Woods to find my forever family-and I think I'm ready to steal your heart next!
I'm a people-loving, treat-chasing, toy-hoarding social butterfly who's always up for making doggy friends. Whether it's cuddles, games, or a stroll through the neighborhood, I bring joy wherever I go. My human skills include expert snuggles, professional begging, and spontaneous happy dances.
I'm looking for a family who loves adventure, laughter, and maybe a little impromptu tap dancing in the living room. If you're ready for a little Maui magic, a lot of love, and some seriously impressive tail choreography, I'm your guy.
Come meet me at Woods in SLO! Any day from 12-4pm! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 43.7 Age: 1yrs 10mths 0wks

More about this shelter
Woods Humane Society, Inc. is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to the humane care of unwanted animals in San Luis Obispo County. Our Staff, volunteers, and board of directors are dedicated to upholding our Mission and preserving the welfare of our present and future animals.
While we cooperate with the State Humane Association of California, the American Humane Association, and The Humane Society of the United States, Woods does not receive financial support from them. Only 20% of our revenues to care for the animals are generated by service fees, the other 80% is generated from fund-raising events, grants, wills, and mainly community donations.
Woods Humane Society is proud to be a leader among the nation’s humane organizations. Thanks to loyal and broad-based community support, and the diligent efforts of our dedicated staff and volunteers, Woods placement rate averages 98%, an outstanding achievement.
None of this work could be completed without the incredible support of our community and our wonderful volunteers.
