My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a gentle soul? this black lab mix has a calm affectionate nature and loves being close to people. she is the perfect blend of mellow and friendly and is ready to bring joy and comfort to her new home.

A day with Amber is all about trust and quiet love.
☀️ Morning: A gentle walk with soft encouragement from her favorite volunteers — every day, she gets a little braver.
Afternoon: Naps in the sunshine and watching the world go by. She’s starting to realize people mean belly rubs and kindness.
Evening: Snuggled in with her blanket, safe and cared for, finally learning what comfort feels like.
Amber is a young, 40 lb lab/hound mix who came to us scared and unsure after being trapped with her puppy. With time and patience, her sweet spirit is shining through.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to end the suffering of thousands of abandoned pet dogs, feral and breeding packs of dogs, by physical rescue, from rural and remote areas of Florida. To vet, socialize, vaccinate, microchip and spay or neuter them and most importantly to place them in safe, loving homes.
