Jeremy was found by a good samaritan in California who worked with their local shelter to try to find if he had owners. He was very underweight and the the local shelters were overcrowded. She took care of him while waiting to see if an owner could be found. After some time, she reached out to the rescue for help and we were happy to get this sweet guy the care he needed. He recently made his journey to Colorado and he is loving the mile high life.
Jeremy is still working on house training. He wears a belly-band in the house, takes frequent trips outside, and his current fosters use baby gates to limit his free roam when they aren't home. He was just neutered a few days ago, so this should help with his house training.
Jeremey is a very cuddly & gentle boy, he follows his foster mom around and prefers to stay nearby and snag a little extra love anytime he gets the chance. He is in a foster home with other dogs and he is good with them but hasn't interacted with them much, other than sharing some snuggle time.
He has been through a lot of change and has some separation anxiety. He is a very happy guy and acts like a big puppy with a moderate energy level. He is working on learning basic commands and is very food motivated so this is helping with his training.
Jeremy's forever home will help him build his confidence and work on training with positive reinforcement. He is very eager to please and ready to be your best friend, especially if you love couch cuddles.
