Josie was saved from the euthanasia list nearly 2 years ago, and since then she’s been patiently waiting in a boarding facility for her forever home. Josie did have her DNA test tested by embark and it shows that she is a Central Asian Shepherd dog also known as an Alabai and Turkman Wolf hound. She’s such a gem, and we can’t believe no one has scooped her up yet!

Doggy social butterfly – she loves other dogs and enjoys their company
Water baby – happiest splashing and swimming in the pool
Road trip ready – she’s an A+ car rider and settles in like a pro
Leash superstar – walks beautifully without pulling
Josie has shown she can be a little uncertain around some men, so she’ll need a patient adopter who will help her feel safe and secure. With love and consistency, she’s sure to blossom even more.
