Winnie is so gorgeous with her orangeish color fur. It's so thick and in great shape. Winnie is young and full of life. She loves to chase the other dogs in the group to play tag or just to see who the fastest runner is. We haven't witnessed any dominance or aggressiveness towards any of the other dogs. She can sometimes think she is a smaller dog but doesn't realize she is playing a bit too rough. It's on accident and it happens when she thinks patting them on the back is OK but she accidently rolls them over. The dogs haven't been hurt because it's a gentle roll over. A quick correction and she listens so well.
She listens really well but being young you need to be firm in your voice. Winnie would be thrilled to go to obedience classes. We are still learning more about her everyday and from what we have learned so far she is going to make a terrific companion for some lucky family.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
