This helps Fulton County Animal Center with pet care costs.
Hi, I’m Shiloh!
Approx 5 yrs young | 55 lbs | Mixed Breed
I was found as a stray, and while the kind people who found me loved me, they couldn’t keep me. Now I’m here at the shelter, and I’m hoping my forever family finds me soon.
A little about me:
• I’m super sweet and love making new friends.
• Treats? Yes, please — I take them ever so gently.
• I walk to and from my kennel like a lady — no reactivity toward the other dogs.
• I haven’t had a single accident since arriving (potty trained and proud of it!).
• I’ve met cats and didn’t seem to mind them one bit — I mostly ignored them. I recently met another dog and did very well overall! At the end, I gave a little “too close for comfort” nip but stopped immediately when redirected. The staff says that means I’m likely dog-selective — I can be tolerant and polite with some dogs but prefer to keep my space. With the right match and an experienced handler, I could absolutely have dog friends.
Spayed, Heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $100.
Shiloh did test positive for Lyme disease and has completed her 28-day treatment. It is recommended she stay on flea/tick prevention year-round and receive a Lyme vaccine annually.
Spayed, Heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee has been FULLY sponsored by Joe's Hope Foundation in honor of Deborah Ogle.
*Shiloh did test positive for Lyme disease, which she has started her 30 day treatment for. It is recommended she stay on flea/tick prevention year round and receive a Lyme Vaccine yearly.

If it’s a good fit, you may be able to take your new best friend home the same day! We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure it’s the right match for everyone.
