Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lucy (Black) and Buster (Brown)
These two siblings have been through thick and thin together for 12 long years. Now they are looking for a new place to call home. They came in looking pretty rough, but thankfully we were able to groom them up nice.
At 12yrs old we were concerned that there might be more problems than just poor hair care. Thankfully after a thorough vet exam Lucy seems to be in pretty good shape. But this is where it gets sad, Buster unfortunately is in stage 5 kidney failure, which at his age, is absolutely not good news. We are providing him with the care he needs to be comfortable, but there is no way of predicting how long he has left. Maybe its 2 weeks maybe it's 2 years...
We would like to place to two of them in a home together. Lucy is available for full adoption and Buster is available as a hospice foster, meaning we take care of all his needs, including medical.
These two love nothing more than just being loved on and enjoying a nice day outside in the yard, they are easy to please and don't make much of a fuss about anything (unless you stop petting them, then they will occasionally tell you about it). If you think you could fit two senior siblings into your life and welcome them into your home, please fill out an application!

More about this rescue
Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
