Meet Bear!

Bear is a 4yr old active herding breed dog that loves nothing more than hanging out in the backyard playing disc (and he is REALLY good at catching them too!) and hanging out to cuddle on the couch afterwards,

He is loud, bossy, and opinionated just like any good corgi mix should be, so be prepared to put in the work to train this boy because he will be running the household in two-weeks tops if you don't!

Besides fetch Bear also loves long walks and fun training sessions. He is incredibly smart and wants to please his people.

While Bear loves ALL people, he is picky about his canine friends and prefers laid back and easy-going dogs to be his friends.

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
