My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Aayax is a Patient Paw, please ask about his reduced adoption fee!**

Age: 2 years
Weight: 4.44kg

Say hello to Aayax! This beautiful boy came to us through no fault of his own and is now looking for his forever family! Aayax is an incredibly sweet boy, but is quite unsure when meeting new friends. Aayax does have a decent amount of energy to burn off, so a family that can give him lots of attention and playtime would be ideal! Aayax has lived with another cat before but does prefer to bet eh center of attention, so if your resident feline likes to play but doesn`t mind sharing the spotlight, Aayax may be a good fit! He takes a while to warm up, so a family that can provide him with lots of space and patience so that he can blossom into the best version of himself would be ideal! If you are looking for a sweet, calm companion, Aayax might be your fella! Come say hi today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
