What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Scout is a 11-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a big heart. He’s a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion who loves to be around people.
Scout is a large dog, so he’ll do best in a home with a decent-sized yard where he has room to run around. His Anatolian Shepherd side shines through in his independent nature, but he’s also very trainable—especially when treats are involved!
He can get a bit anxious during car rides and may drool when nervous, but he shows improvement with practice - admittedly, we’ve provided only a handful of times.
He still needs to be neutered. Since he’s a big dog, we’ve waited to let him grow, but if he finds a new home, we’ll gladly handle it so his new family won’t have to worry.
Scout truly is a wonderful and loving dog. Unfortunately, our upcoming move means we won’t have the yard space he deserves. We’re hoping to find him a loving home where he can thrive and continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s becoming.
