My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lorrie! She is a 3 year old terrier mix. She ended up in a small rural shelter with her puppies and they were all adopted, but she was not. She is the zoomie queen, an expert cuddler, an loves to play. She is shy at first, but once she warms up to you, you will be her favorite person in the world. She is also very brave despite being shy, so would love a family she trusts that would take her out on adventures.

Lorrie is heartworm positive and started treatment, so is currently looking for a foster to adopt situation. We will pay for all of her medical bills until she is ready to be formally adopted, but she can move in with your family now to become an immediate member of your family! Will you give this sweet girl a chance to complete your family?

Additional adoption info

Our application process is meant to provide enough background that we can ensure the dog is going to a good home, but also be flexible enough that people can get their dog quickly.

Go meet their pets

We are foster based, and are happy to coordinate times for private introductions to our dogs. We will post events we are attending with our dogs on our website and social media.
