My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Rain — The Sweet, Gentle Water‑Loving Girl

Rain is a truly lovely dog — soft‑hearted, friendly, and easy to adore. She gets along beautifully with 99% of male and female dogs, and her gentle nature makes her a great companion for calm, respectful playgroups. She’s affectionate, people‑oriented, and always happy to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Rain has a cute little habit: if your hands are at your sides, she may gently mouth them to get your attention. She’s already becoming more polite about it — it’s her way of saying, “Hey, I love you, look at me.”

This girl is a water lover through and through. The pool is her happy place, and she’ll splash, wade, and play with pure joy. She also loves toys, loves fetch, and enjoys being active with her people.

Rain is very quiet, doesn’t jump fences, and doesn’t dig out, making her easy to manage in the yard.

She does have a few boundaries:

No cats

No chickens

If a dog jumps on her during high excitement, she may snap to correct them

She has a little food‑related resource guarding, so a dog‑savvy home is ideal

Rain is leash trained, knows how to shake, and walks nicely with guidance. She’s an aggressive chewer, so she needs tough toys only — no plushies for this girl she is a pro shredder. She’s also a total cuddle bug once she feels safe. -you will usually find her at your feet

✨ Rain Would Love a Home With:

Dog friends who respect her space

A family who loves water play and outdoor fun

Tough toys and enrichment

A calm, dog‑savvy household

Someone who appreciates a sweet, gentle girl with a big heart

💛 Why You’ll Love Her

Rain is affectionate, easygoing, playful, and deeply sweet. She’s the kind of dog who bonds closely, loves fully, and brings warmth to every day. If you want a gentle companion who loves water, toys, and quiet affection, Rain is ready to brighten your life.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
