My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Rain! 🌧️🐶
I’m an absolute cuddle bug—you’ll usually find me right at your feet. My favorite game is fetch, and I’m learning how to drop the ball when asked (I’m getting pretty good at it!).

✨ A little about me:

I’m potty trained ✅

Working on kennel training (I’m fine once I’m in, I just need practice going in on command)

I walk nicely on a leash 🚶‍♀️

I know how to “shake” but not “sit” yet (my foster hooman is helping me learn!)

I know “touch” and think it’s a funny command, but it helps me understand I did the thing right 💕

🍗 I LOVE chicken and I’m not food aggressive with humans.
🧸 I need tough toys (no plushies—I’m a pro shredder!).
🐱 I do okay with cats if you go slow. I’ve met feral cats and kittens before and mostly just ignored them.
🐾 I love doggy friends too, as long as introductions are slow and thoughtful.

More than anything, I would absolutely love to be your next cuddle buddy. ❤️

I’m currently up for adoption through @WeatherfordWags!
You can also message my foster hooman, and she’ll connect you with the right people.

I can’t wait to meet you soon! 🥰

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
