Root Beer is a 13-year-old male Lab/Weimaraner, 85 lbs, mix who has a serious zest for life. Don't let his age fool you — this distinguished gentleman has the heart of an explorer and the spirit of a loyal companion. His favorite pastimes? Car rides, leisurely walks, human attention, and… relocating his dog food bowl around the house. (Yes, it’s his version of interior design.)

Whether he's trotting alongside you on a trail or cozying up for some head scratches, Root Beer knows how to make the most of every moment — and he wants to share them all with you.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Take the Pet Home

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
