⨠Blitz’s Beautiful Comeback — Chapter Two â¨
Sweet Blitz has come such a long way — and her story just keeps getting better. When she first arrived, she was heartbreakingly thin, shut down, and afraid of the world. It took endless patience, gentle reassurance, and even sitting in the rain just to earn her trust.
Today, Blitz is truly thriving. She’s gained healthy weight, her coat shines, and she’s learning how good life can be. After being spayed last week, she had a couple of off-days where she wasn’t eating and tried to hide in the bushes, but by Sunday it was like a light switched on — she’s been bouncy, bright, and full of life ever since.
She’s doing great with her potty habits (only one little accident after surgery, and we’ll blame that on the anesthesia). Blitz likes her crate and sleeps through the night peacefully. She enjoys being near you without being clingy — she’s an independent gal who chooses her moments for affection, making them all the sweeter when she comes over for an ear rub or back scratches.
She’s also showing interest in toys (rope toys and bouncy balls are her current faves!) and takes cues from her dog friends beautifully. Because of that, we think she’d do best in a home with another confident pup to help her continue to blossom.
Medium in size and enormous in heart, Blitz has shown us what quiet resilience looks like. She goes back to Pavilion on Thursday morning for her follow-up appointment — and after that, this brave girl will officially be ready for her forever family.
