If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This sweet senior gal was in the care of her senior owner until almost a year ago when he could no longer take care of her - following almost 1 year in boarding with zero adoption applications, Sox is ready for the comfort and love she’s always deserved.
She’s happiest at home with you supervising you making sure you prepare her a good meal and get your chores done, and then just chilling by your side. She’s OK on leash and prefers stroller rides where she can feel the wind on her face and smell all the smells. Sox would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home, she does great with 2 small dogs including a senior at one of our volunteers’ houses where she goes for overnights.
Sox deserves to spend her golden years wrapped in the warmth of family, not shelter walls. She’s sweet, resilient and so deserving of a happily ever after.
