Meet Margarida, a 7 month old 6 pound (as of 10/30). She is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who just needs a little time to feel safe — but once she does, her affectionate side shines. She recently spent a quiet day with her foster mom and blossomed, happily snuggling on the couch and following her around the apartment.
Margarida is looking for a patient adopter who can give her the calm, loving environment she deserves. She’s perfectly litter box trained, enjoys playing with toys, and isn’t a picky eater. She gets along fine with other cats but would likely thrive as the only cat in a peaceful home, where she can soak up all the love and attention.
She tends to be a bit timid around men, so a quieter home (especially with a gentle female presence) would be ideal. Once she trusts you, though, she’ll reward you with the sweetest companionship and the softest cuddles.
