Meet Rip!
Rip is a 3-year-old yellow lab with a big personality packed into his compact 45-pound frame. This fun-loving guy has lots of energy and would thrive in an active home where he can run, play, and be part of the action.
Rip is house trained, crate trained, and gets along great with other dogs. He’s still working on his leash manners, but he’s eager to learn and would do well with a family ready to help him continue building those skills. Rip is very people-oriented and doesn’t like being left behind, so he’ll need to be kept on a lead or supervised when outdoors — he just wants to be wherever you are!
With his playful spirit, affectionate nature, and love for companionship, Rip is ready to be your adventure buddy, sidekick, and best friend. 🐾💛

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
