My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We heard that you’ve been searching for a friendly, beautiful white cat. Here she is! Loretta is one year old and full with personality. Very affectionate, Loretta is a sweetheart - playful and curious, she loves chasing springs and climbing the cat tower. If springs aren’t around, wand toys or anything on a string will do! Please leave empty boxes for her - they’re her favourite toys and they make great beds after playtime. She’ll gently nudge your phone from your hands in bed, her way of saying, “Hey, pay attention to me!” If you like company at night, Loretta is not shy to sleep on your chest. She’s a big fan of Churu treats, but any treats will do! Loretta may be shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s friendly and chatty. She’s not a lap cat, but enjoys being picked up and cuddled when she wants. Loretta gets along with other cats and would like a friendly cat buddy in her new home.

Loretta came to us as an owner surrender, through no fault of her own. She is now ready to find her forever home at last!

Loretta is a sweet, quirky, and vocal little lady who’ll definitely make you smile with her friendly disposition and companionship. You’ve been searching, now here she is!

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
