My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Meadow and Maureen WANNA-BE-  teen sister beauty queens.

They are WANNA-BE because they WANNA-BE in a home of their very own!
Maureen is the tortoise shell with a gorgeous medium length coat.  She loves to be petted while she is eating and will meow and go to the food bowl expecting strokes.
Meadow is the striped and spotted tabby.  She is much more affectionate and will come up into my lap and soak up attention.  They both like to play with the string toys while I am having my morning coffee.  They love to leap up in the air to catch the feather at the end of the string. Sometimes when I come downstairs, Meadow will be in my chair with a favorite fuzzy toy. I think this is her way of bringing me a gift and inviting attention.
These lucky girls were part of a neighborhood TNR and were caught as kittens and were very fearful and distrusting for quite some time.  It has been so rewarding to watch the transformation of these lovely cats.  They have only known kindness.  I do not play roughly with my cats as some folks like to do.
They are spayed and have  been around dogs. They know how to use the pet door as I have a backyard with cat fencing which allows them to have the best of both worlds.
I am very attached to them, however, I already have 4 other cats.
If you are interested in these ladies, please understand the uniqueness and quirkiness of cats and have the patience to let them settle in.

These sisters are bonded and will thrive best in a home together. Their rehoming fee is $100 for the pair.  They live with their caregiver in Battleground, WA.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
