Meadow and Maureen were rescued from a neighborhood colony at about 4 months old. At first, they were very frightened and unsure of people, but with patience and gentle petting, they’ve blossomed into affectionate young cats who enjoy attention.
They were spayed at 5 months (age estimated by FCC of Oregon) and after recovery, discovered the joys of freedom, climbing their cat tree, and exploring the house. Thanks to a cat-fenced yard, they also love safe outdoor time. When startled, they instinctively return to their “safe spot” on the cat tree, showing how bonded they are to their home base.
While they are still learning that being held is okay, they love to be stroked and petted. Both girls have experience living with other cats, a dog, and are used to normal household noises.
Meadow is the shyer of the two, but she absolutely enjoys playtime and has striking, unique tabby markings.
Maureen is more outgoing, chatty, and will even meow back when you talk to her.
These sisters are bonded and will thrive best in a home together. Their rehoming fee is $100 for the pair. They live with their caregiver in Battleground, WA.
This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances.
