Everyone meet PUGSLEY

Breed: Pittie

Age: almost 2 years old

Weight: 70 lbs

Pugsley was taken into a shelter in Kentucky where his owner was charged for cutting his ears off. How HORRIBLE! Due to his trauma, he needs to be the ONLY PET IN HOME! No cats, bunnies, dogs etc. Pugsley is dog reactive when they are in his personal bubble and will bark at them when looking out a window (who doesn’t, right?) He does fine when walking and a dog is in the opposite side of the side walk.

Pugsley honestly hasn’t met anyone he hasn’t liked! HE LOVES PEOPLE!

Pugsley has been patiently waiting for his forever home - he knows it’s out there. He knows it’s a lot to ask to be the only pet but he promises to love you!

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
