Meet Chui!
Chui (pronounced Chewy) came to us alongside his lifelong buddy, Luna. These two have been together since they were young, and after spending most of their lives outdoors in unsanitary conditions, they’re finally getting to experience what it feels like to be safe, clean, and truly cared for. We would love to see Chui enjoy this next (and sweetest) chapter of his life with the friend who’s been by his side through it all.
Chui is a gentle, tender-hearted little guy who loves easy strolls, soft beds, and long naps. Since arriving, he’s had a full veterinary workup, including a much-needed dental and surgery to repair a fractured jaw. He does have a low-grade heart murmur and some early kidney changes, so a kidney-friendly diet may be recommended down the road—but otherwise, he’s doing wonderfully.
He has done well with other polite, small dogs here at the rescue, though he’s not a fan of young, rambunctious pups. At this time, we’re seeking a home where Chui and Luna can stay together and finally enjoy the comfort and companionship they’ve always deserved.

Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip + registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention, and age-appropriate vaccines.

IF your references and home tour video are approved, you will be invited out to our rescue location to meet our dog(s).
Sign Adoption Contract
IF the meet & greet goes well, you will be asked to pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and are ready to take your new dog home!
