My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Manuka is a calico girl with bright green eyes, snowy white paws, and a soft white belly that’s just as lovely as she is. When she feels comfortable, her playful side shines - she loves chasing toys and zooming around the house, turning everyday moments into little bursts of fun.

Despite her shy nature at first, Manuka is VERY snuggly once she trusts you. She adores curling up in a lap, purring contentedly, and kneading with her paws while enjoying quiet companionship. She is curious about new things and loves sitting in boxes. She has a cute little meow and gets very excited at dinner time!

Manuka is a gentle soul who would thrive in a calm, quiet household where she can settle in at her own pace. If you’re looking for a peaceful, loving lap cat and can offer a serene home, Manuka may be the perfect match.

Our cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

All of our cats must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.

We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

More about this rescue

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
