Hi, I'm Viridian, a 2-year-old Shepherd mix, weighing around 39 pounds, and I'm on the search for my forever home! I love getting out and about, especially on walks, where I can sniff everything. I walk well on leash, and I'm a good listener when it's time to step off the trail or stay calm when bikes and people go by. I'm a bit shy at first, especially around men I don't know, but I warm up with some kindness and patience. I really enjoy meeting new people and will gently sit for a snack. I love scratches behind my ears and on my hips. Loud noises like sirens or low-flying planes can startle me, but I calm down quickly with a gentle voice and some ear rubs. If you're looking for a smart, curious, and loyal adventure buddy with a big heart and a gentle soul, I just might be your girl.
