My name is Sprout!

Sprout is a 4-year-old kitty with a tender heart and a quiet, gentle soul. Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for him, so he often seeks comfort hiding under blankets where he feels safest. Once Sprout feels secure, though, his sweet personality begins to shine! He enjoys being gently petted and can be social on his terms with people he trusts. This sensitive boy is easily startled by fast movements and loud activity, so Sprout is looking for a calm, cat-savvy home that understands shy cats and is willing to let him set the pace. He would do best with respectful young teens who can give him the space and patience he needs to build confidence. Sprout shows soft, curious interest in other cats and may really blossom with a calm, easygoing feline friend to help show him the ropes. Sometimes his own nerves get the best of him, but with the right companion and a peaceful environment, Sprout has the potential to grow into a loving, loyal cuddle buddy.
